Dear Orla and Titti,

Finally home after a 12 hour delay with the departure of our flight – ah well we were greeted with 35+  temps (10th day in a row and still more to come this weekend) and that was as you guys were settling in for the cold … so I am not complaining!

After a less than satisfactory and stressful experience with trying to book accommodation through HomeTrip (Trip Advisor) and Air BnB we thankfully stumbled across The PlumGuide featuring Orla and Titti’s home at 62 Downhills Way.

We had travelled from South Africa, Canada and Australia to celebrate the life of our son, brother and father who had passed away unexpectedly.

All our flights arrived early in the morning and when we requested an early check in without any airs and graces Orla and Titti accommodated our very needs – it would appear engaging all hands on deck to start the clean as previous guests had only departed half an hour before our arrival!

From the very first contact right up till check out it was a seamless experience. 

They say ‘my home is yours’ and we certainly felt that way.  You will not be disappointed with the welcome and the quality of the furnishings.

Thank you Orla and Titti your accommodation was fabulous, and under the circumstances you gave us a very good start!

​Myself and a group of friends stayed at this property for a birthday celebration and we absolutely loved it. The house was more than we could have hoped or imagined. Host Titti was in subtle contact throughout our stay, and most helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here, it was close enough to the city and had no issues getting around.

Orla and Titti thank you! Perfect stay! A beautiful house filled with gorgeously decorated bedrooms. Lovely home made brownies, thoughtful little jars of sweets, biscuits, chocolate...plus cereals, butter and more. Everything you need for the most wonderful stay. We did have an issue with wifi but the hosts came over immediately to rectify and then it worked perfectly. Can't fault this. Highly recommended.

Great communication with Titti and Orla beforehand. The house was spacious and accommodated our group of several families very well. Handy location and base for getting into central London. Excellent children's park just round the corner. The airbnb photos reflected the property accurately and we had a great stay, thank you.

We love the cleaniness of the house. It is as the pictures posted. Everything we need for cooking is available. Location is superb. Thanks Orla and Titti for giving us an enjoyable stay.

Six of us stayed in this house for a hen weekend, with visitors on one of the days. There was plenty of room for each of us and the facilities are great. The house is very well decorated (particularly the amazing bathrooms) and clean, with ample seating for guests. The house was filed with thoughtful touches, including a plate of delicious brownies on arrival. It is fairly close to the train station and those of us driving managed to get parked easily. Titti and Orla are great hosts and always responded to my queries quickly and clearly. This house is lovely and comes highly recommended, thank you Titti and Orla!

Best AirBNB experience I've had in London by far. Titti and Orla provide a fantastic space for larger groups which is both spacious and clean. Communication was fantastic and they left us lots of information about things to do in the area. Brilliant and clearly very nice people too.

I booked this house for a hen weekend I was organising in London. It was perfect - designed and finished to an excellent standard. The kitchen and entertaining space was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Titti and Orla were extremely helpful, answering all my questions. So, we were a party of 11! And, what a blessing to find this house and, more astonishingly, this amazing house-mother! We came home to find brownies (home-made) for the kids. A Chalk board welcoming us, and enough bedrooms and accommodations to make us all feel amazing after our travels! UGH! The house is great for a large party. You were our salvation when our hire-bus was late being delivered and you were so understanding about all our "special" needs. The house is about a good 10 minute walk to train; but once you are past that, there are many possibilities into the city and many local joints to get breakfast etc immediately. We loved it! Thank you Britain and thank you Titti! Love Mary Jane & Nigel and our 6 kids, and the hangers on that followed us to London.

We had a wonderful time in London and were very happy to have this home to come back to at the end of the day. There was more than enough room for our family of 8 adults and 4 children, and it was very nice to have all the amenities - several of us were so happy to see actual hair dryers! Easy walk to the tube, and the outdoor area was a great add-on. Oh, and an actual clothes dryer was a luxury after spending more than a week in England without access to one - particularly after we figured out that we needed to empty the water-collecting container - not really a feature in the U.S., but we're learning. : ) Thanks for a terrific stay.

This place was great for us to stay. We were 3 families, 6 adults and 5 kids and we all slept very comfortably. The house is very nice and clean, bathrooms were great, and bedrooms were superb. Having the kitchen with some breakfast items like cereal and oatmeal was great to get our day started as we spent all of our daytime touring the sites in London. The Turnpike tube stop is about 10 minutes walk and very easy to do. It's on the Piccadilly line which turned out to be one of the best lines for touring London as it had all of the great stops close to the sites we wanted to see and it was convenient for us to stop in Covent Garden on our way to grab dinner and then just get back on the same tube. Everyone enjoyed staying at the house and I was especially appreciative of the hosts accepting our rental request with only a few days notice because our previous rental in London cancelled on us 3 days before our arrival due to a water line break that left the place uninhabitable.

Orla and Titti are fantastic hosts they were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The homemade cakes on arrival were devoured instantly by our party. We were a large group of 9 adults and 5 children but there was plenty of space and the living area was great for our evening get togethers. Every room has that special touch, the bathrooms are very luxurious and we were provided with lovely matching towels and toiletries in each one. We also requested parking permits which were at a special rate and Orla and Titti were on hand to sort that out for us too. The house is approx 10 mins walk to the tube which is on the Picadilly line and took us straight into central London, in fact it was a great help at the start of our holiday as half our party flew in from Australia and we were able to get on the tube at Heathrow and go directly to Turnpike Lane without changing, that was a real bonus. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful find especially if you are a large party and thankyou Orla and Titti for making it extra special.

It was lovely! Very homely everything we needed. Clean and comfortable and Orla was very helpful, as was Titti. The little touches of bread, jam, brownies v appreciated. And excellent restaurant recommendation. You were wonderful hosts, thank you.
