Guest Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing myhomeisyours. We require guests to agree to our terms and conditions in advance of us sharing the check-in details. All guests to deal exclusively with myhomeisyours for all issues relating to the booking and the Property.
General

All Properties are fully furnished to a high standard and a check in manual is provided prior to your arrival.

We may ask for your ID in advance of check-in. This is a requirement of some of our landlords.

Fresh bed linen and towels are included on your arrival.

We strive to ensure all property listings are accurate and current. Please note that some homes are independently managed and may be updated at the landlord's discretion. As such, specific features, furnishings, or amenities—including but not limited to appliances, decor, or services—may vary slightly from what is listed or pictured.

EXTERNAL surveillance cameras are increasingly common for the safety and security of both guests and hosts. While we require hosts to disclose any active cameras, there may be instances where such devices are present but not explicitly listed. Surveillance cameras and ring doorbells are only permitted in exterior spaces such as the entrance & garden.

Guests consent to myhomeisyours and their landlords' monitoring of surveillance footage to ensure compliance with the terms of booking and, where a breach is suspected, to conducting further monitoring as necessary. Such footage can be shared with the guest, myhomeisyours, and the supplier if necessary. Footage will only be shared on a need-to-know basis, and footage is stored within the GDPR UK regulations.

Check-in

Check-in details are shared once the guest agrees to our terms and conditions.

Check in is generally from 4 pm. Please refer to your property specific check-in details.

At the point of check-in, we ask you to take photos & a video which becomes your ‘Condition Report’ and will be added to your file. Please share this

with us and feel free to add any property specific comments.

You have 48 hours to flag any issues, otherwise we will assume all is well.

Failure to report any issues with the Property, at the point of check-in or during your stay, will invalidate your right to any recourse.

Guests will receive 1 set of keys. Additional keys, when supplied, will require an extra deposit. Failure to return keys to box or leave at the Property will incur a cost. In the event that a Guest loses a key, for safety reasons, We will need to install a new key system. The cost of this needs to be funded by the Guest.
During your stay

You are responsible for the house for the duration of your stay.

The Property needs to be maintained in good condition always and we reserve the right to inspect the property at weekly or fortnightly intervals. We will inform you in advance of our visit and give 24 hours notice.

Any breakages or damage to the property need to be logged with us immediately.

All utilities are included based on a fair use policy.

Parties and smoking are strictly prohibited.

Only the number of people specified on the booking can stay at the accommodation.

Pets are allowed, if specified on the booking confirmation.

We ask you to respect your neighbours always and observe quiet hours between 8 pm and 8 am.

No items are to be removed from any property or dismantled in any way. If furniture is moved, it needs to be replaced to its original position prior to check-out.

The Property cannot be re-let/sublet to any other group/party without the written approval of myhomeisyours.com.

We reserve the right to refuse admittance or immediately terminate the stay in the property if the guest and their party are in breach of these conditions.

All Guests need to adhere to the council-specific waste disposal rules, such as segmentation of food waste, recyclables and others. Excessive rubbish and unrecycled rubbish will incur additional charges.

If a call out is necessary due to a nuisance or disturbance, myhomeisyours reserves the right to charge a call out fee of £500 (Five Hundred Pounds).

If a call out is necessary due to the Guest mislaying their keys or leaving their keys in the Property, myhomeisyours reserves the right to charge a call out fee of £150 (One Hundred & Fifty Pounds).

The Property cannot be used for commercial or business purposes.

If a Guest abuses the Property, the neighbours or any member of the maintenance, cleaning or myhomeisyours team, that constitutes a breach of contract and they will be immediately evicted.

Anti-social behaviour or consuming illegal substances constitutes a breach of terms and can result in an immediate eviction.

Please liaise with myhomeisyours for all issues relating to your stay. We will refer any issues back to the Landlord, keep the Instruction Party updated and attempt to resolve all issues quickly.

We reserve the right to enter the Property without prior consent in the event of a fire, flood, gas leak, or other emergency, if there is a concern for guest welfare, if we suspect illegal activity is taking place at the Property.
Check-out

Check-out is at 10 am, unless otherwise agreed. Unscheduled late check-outs incur fees.

Prior to check-out, please circulate a video recording of the entire home, including front and back garden, if applicable. This video should be taken once you have cleaned and packed up all your possession and you are ready to leave. This becomes the ‘Condition Exit Report’. Failure to supply a video means we will defer solely to the photo & video evidence shared by landlord. We will be responsible for fixing any issue, all costs will be passed to the Guest.

All properties are to be left in a reasonable state on departure. If additional cleaning is required, the cost of this cleaning will be added as an additional charge, at our discretion. All Guests need to adhere to the council's specific waste disposal rules, such as separating food waste, recyclables, and other materials. Excessive rubbish and un-recycled rubbish will incur additional charges.

All personal belongings and possessions must be removed from the Property upon departure. A Guest will not be deemed to have fully checked out until all personal belongings have been removed from the Property.

Any items left behind after check-out may be removed and may be disposed of immediately, without liability to myhomeisyours
